  • At the August 21 meeting of the Southern State Community college Board of Trustees, Brown County Juvenile Court Judge Danny R. Bubp presided over the swearing in of Jeffrey D. Newman who was appointed by Gov. DeWine for a term through May 11, 2024.

  • ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ (³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ) and Shawnee State University (SSU) have joined in partnership to increase access and affordability by establishing a degree pathway option for students in Occupational Therapy. This agreement will allow students to take a total of two years of college courses at Southern State to obtain an associate degree with courses offered by Shawnee State University.

  • ³Ô¹Ï²»´òìÈ has released its President's List and Dean's List for academic excellence for Spring Semester 2019. To be eligible for the President's List, a student must maintain a 4.0 grade point average while carrying a specific number of academic credit hours. Those who achieve the Dean's List are full-time students who have earned at least a 3.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0.
